Mr. Byron Fermin is a Project Engineer I in the Ministry of Works and Transport, PURE. He holds a BAc. in Construction Engineering & Management from the University of Trinidad and Tobago as well as an MSc in Construction Management from the University of the West Indies. He works in the local construction industry in both the public and private sections. His research interest includes pavement management and pavement rehabilitation. His research into the topic of “Dominating Factors of Road Failures: Perceptions of Key Stakeholders in SIDS Trinidad & Tobago” was published in the West Indian Journal of Engineering in January 2023.
