Professor Emeritus Winston HE Suite brings to this ethics seminar the full breath of his extensive academic, business and professional experience in the field of construction engineering and management. He pioneered the teaching of construction management in the construction sector at both the UWI and the UTT always with a focus on the role and function of ethics in engineering practice. Professor Suite is the author of numerous papers on ethics presented locally, regionally and internationally.
His MSc thesis was on Contract Law and the Construction Sector. He chaired the infrastructure component of Vision 2020. Additionally, he has board level experience across at least 5 agencies in the public sector, as well as extensive experience in contracting and procurement, thereby combining the practical with the philosophical and academic. Professor Suite brings to this webinar both the classical and conventional take on ethics as well as innovative insight into the role and function of ethics in the field of engineering.
